Auction

The Sunday School children are excited to be taking part in the fund raising auction following the Parish potluck dinner on October 8th. Ian McDonald will be the MC, and those who win the bid, can choose who will get the money--the Hall Roof Fund or the Mission to Mexico.

A volunteer doctor is working in a remote area of southern Mexico, and we hope to be able to send him funds to buy much needed supplies to take with him on his next trip. One half of the kids will be cheering for him and the other half hollering for the hall roof. It should be chaotic--but fun!

We already have promised a good number of items, including a wine basket, a quilt, month long passes to the YMCA, tickets to the Hallowe'en Ghost train in Bear Creek Park and a certificate for an hour's gardening.
