Goodbye to Joan

Today, with many of her family and friends in attendance, Joan Best's ashes were laid to rest in the memorial garden. Following the regular service, the congregation gathered outside in the bright sunlight as Fr. Gorden read the srevice of committal. Two red roses were placed on the stone in memory of Joan and Hugh.

In the picture you can see Joan with her mother, Florence, who recently celbrated her 102nd birthday.
