Remembering

A small group met at noon to mark the graves of our veterans with flowers and flags. A happy coincidence saw us meeting with the daughter-in-law of Doug Pilgrim as she came to pay her respects to a well-loved parishioner. Doug was a highly decorated soldier, but when asked about his medals said, "Oh, I bought a lot of Crackerjacks..."
