Reverend Tim Morgan joins St. Oswalds

We are very pleased to announce that a permanent minister will be joining St. Oswald's Parish on May 1st.  Reverend Tim Morgan recently introduced himself by email to parishioners at St. Oswald's:

Dear Members of St. Oswald's:

It is with great excitement that Bishop John Stephens, the Parish Committee at St. Oswald's and I have agreed that I will come as your new Vicar beginning May 1st.  I am delighted by the appointment and am looking forward to being in your midst as your priest.

I bring to ministry amongst you a deep faith in God and Jesus Christ, having been an active and devout member of the Anglican Church my whole life.  When I begin with you, I will have just celebrated my 31st anniversary of ordination to the priesthood, which has always been my greatest calling in life.

In these weeks ahead, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and once again let me say how delighted I am that I will soon be with you.
